"You’re not hurt?"
I’ve wanted to do this one for months. I realize that this has probably been thought of already, but I really like the idea of a sweet love between Sigrid and Fili. Almost like what was between Alice and Uncas in Last of the Mohicans. They don’t really address it out loud. The only signs of it are a stolen glances and the stunned look on Fili’s face when he climbs out of Bard’s toilet and sees her for the first time. And when the orc sends her flying backwards later, and she lands on the bench, the way Fili roars and leaps onto the same orc, pinning him to the wall… It never develops beyond love at a distance; it doesn’t have the chance to. But it is the most tender of loves. Two hearts given freely, without a word. They wouldn’t need them. And Fili keeps it to himself and doesn’t speak of it because Kili’s dying and Thorin wouldn’t approve, but for crying out loud, Kili’s in love with a freaking elf, so maybe it’s not as bad? But Kili comes first, then the quest, and Fili last of all. Fili tells himself it’s alright, that it wouldn’t work anyway, but does he really believe it? Maybe not as much as he’d like to think.
if u are scared or worried or stressed please just remember that even if you mess up super badly, doggies on the street will still tug on their owners when u walk by because they wanna say hello to u so badlyThis is legitimately comforting.
I wish I knew how to flirt like this.
there’s literally no point in teaching girls to be body positive if you only use men’s opinions for validation like “boys like girls with curves” nah get that the fuck out of here
